Boya BY-MM1 Cardioid Condenser Microphone - Shotgu
## Boya BY-MM1 Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Boya BY-MM1 is a small, lightweight electret condenser microphone made for vlogs and video production. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on the sound in front of it while reducing pickup from the sides and rear, which helps keep voices clear.
It needs no battery and connects through 3.5mm, with both a TRRS to TRRS cable and a TRRS to TRS cable in the box for phones and cameras. A shock mount and fur windshield are also included to reduce handling noise and wind.
**Best used for:** Vlogging, smartphone video, DSLR and camcorder recording, and PC voice capture.
**Not recommended for:** Studio vocal recording or setups that need an XLR connection.
