Sun-exposed outdoor areas such as patios, playgrounds and seating areas require a shade solution that is both functional and visually appealing. The Kalahari Standard Right Angle Triangle Shade Sail delivers effective UV protection while adding clean architectural lines to outdoor spaces.

Manufactured from 185 GSM knitted HDPE fabric, this breathable shade sail allows heat to escape, helping reduce temperatures beneath the sail. Designed for South African conditions, it offers durable outdoor performance with fade resistance and mould resistance when installed correctly.

Suitable for shade sail installations over patios, pool areas, parking bays and garden play areas.

Installation:

• For safe and effective installation, ensure the shade sail is fully tensioned and fixed to secure mounting points.
• Each corner must attach to either a wall-mounted pad eye or a pole-mounted eyebolt.
• Use S-hooks, D-shackles or snap hooks to connect the sail's D-rings to the mounting hardware.
• At least one corner on a triangle, or two corners on a square or rectangle, must include a turnbuckle to achieve proper final tensioning.
• A strap tensioner may be used for initial tightening, and a turnbuckle must be used for the final tensioning.
• Correct tensioning is essential for stability in windy conditions.
• Kalahari installation accessories are sold separately.

Care Instructions:

• Spray down with a hose to remove dust, dirt and bird droppings.
• Allow the fabric to dry naturally.
• Ensure the shade sail remains properly tensioned for best performance.
