## Salton Hot Tray with Thermostat (STS80)
The Salton STS80 hot tray uses a 200W heating element beneath a 5mm thick tempered glass surface measuring 570 x 350mm overall, with a 500 x 300mm heating area. A soft-touch control knob adjusts the thermostat across a 45 degrees C to 110 degrees C range, with a power indicator light showing when the tray is switched on.
It is designed to keep prepared food warm at the table or on a buffet, rather than to cook food from raw.
**Best used for:** Keeping cooked dishes, plates or buffet food warm during serving.
**Not recommended for:** Cooking raw food, or use as a hotplate for high-heat cooking tasks.
