The Fusion 40 is a 4-string electric bass guitar built around a solid ash body and a bolt-on hard maple neck with a 34.2-inch (867mm) scale length. A 24-fret rosewood fingerboard gives extended upper-register range, while the individual saddle bridge allows precise intonation and string height adjustment per string.
Tone comes from a dual-pickup layout combining a JB-style bridge pickup with an MM-style pickup, wired to two volume controls and a single tone knob for blending output between the two pickups. Die cast chrome machine heads and an open-pore satin natural finish round out a straightforward, gig-ready bass for beginner to intermediate players.
