The Xiaomi Water Ionic Hair Dryer H500 uses a condenser and needle-shaped emitters to turn condensed moisture into negative water ions, which are sent through a separate cold-air channel. It offers three heat settings and two speeds, with maximum airflow of 20m/s.
NTC control switches between hot and cold air depending on ambient temperature, and a sensor checks the outlet temperature 60 times per second. It has a 360° rotatable magnetic nozzle, a removable air intake filter, a hanging loop and a 1.7m reinforced cord, and weighs about 550g without the nozzle.
**Best used for:** Everyday home hair drying for people who want temperature-controlled airflow and ionic drying.
**Not recommended for:** Professional salon use or travel where a compact dryer is needed.
