Epiphone EBJC-FPE Jack Casady Bass Faded Pelham Blue

The Epiphone EBJC-FPE Jack Casady Bass in Faded Pelham Blue combines classic design with modern innovation. Created by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jack Casady, this semi-hollow bass features a layered maple body, JCB-1 Low-Impedance Humbucker™ pickup, and a three-position rotary impedance control. With its 1960s rounded profile, laurel fingerboard, and detailed hardware, it offers rich resonance, versatile tonal options, and exceptional playability for musicians seeking both style and substance.

Body Construction: The Epiphone EBJC-FPE Jack Casady Bass features a body made from layered maple. This construction is enhanced by a single-ply cream binding and a glossy finish. The archtop LP Signature Bass design provides a sleek look and enhances resonance.

Neck and Fingerboard: The bass has a set mahogany neck, ensuring a solid foundation and excellent sustain. The fingerboard is crafted from laurel, with a 12-inch radius and medium jumbo frets for smooth playability. The nut width is 1.655 inches, made from imitation bone for precise tuning.

Pickup and Controls: Equipped with a JCB-1 Low-Impedance Humbucker™ pickup, the bass offers versatile tonal options. It features a three-position rotary impedance control for a wide range of sounds. The controls include a master volume, master tone, and a 3-position VariTone tone/impedance switch.

Additional Features: The bass includes a 3-point adjustable bridge and tailpiece, die-cast tuning machines with clover buttons, and a cream pickguard with a raised E logo. It also features a dual-action truss rod, gold “Speed” control knobs, and a black chicken head knob for the impedance switch.
