Award-Winning Midas Microphone Preamplifiers: The DL155 features 8 legendary Midas microphone preamplifiers, renowned for their transparency, low noise, and musical warmth. Each preamp offers 2.5 dB analog gain steps and individually switchable +48V phantom power. Designed for pristine sound reproduction, these preamps capture every detail with outstanding clarity and spatial accuracy.
AES3 Digital Audio Interface: The unit includes an 8-channel AES3 (AES/EBU) digital interface, configured across four XLR input and output pairs. Sample rate conversion allows seamless operation with 48 kHz or 96 kHz systems. Each AES3 input features synchronization lock indicators, and each output includes an automatic mute facility with dedicated LEDs.
Electronically Balanced Line Outputs: With 8 low-impedance, high-current line outputs, the DL155 provides robust drive capability for long cable runs. These outputs are servo-balanced for optimal signal integrity and include individual mute indication LEDs. The automatic mute function activates when the console mutes the signal, protecting the audio path.
Remote or Local Configuration: Users can configure the DL155 via front panel controls and LCD display or remotely through a connected Midas console. The display offers easy menu navigation and comprehensive status monitoring including network, power, and output activity indicators, ensuring complete operational visibility.
Dual AES50 Network Ports: Two RJ45 AES50 ports support redundant cabling and high channel-count digital audio networking. Fully compatible with Midas PRO and M32 Series consoles, the DL155 enables reliable stage-to-FOH communication over distances up to 100 meters using CAT5/5e cabling.
Road-Ready Rackmount Design: Housed in a rugged 2U steel chassis, the DL155 is built to withstand the rigors of touring. Its premium-grade connectors and internal architecture are optimized for dependable performance in professional live sound and broadcast environments.
Auto-Ranging Universal Power Supply: Designed for worldwide use, the auto-ranging switch-mode power supply accepts 100–240 VAC at 50–60 Hz. The efficient power design supports high reliability and consistent operation, regardless of global voltage standards or on-site conditions.
