The handcrafted CPX15WII is finished with a classic antique violin sunburst finish. The combination of a hand-selected solid spruce top and walnut back and sides give a quick-responding sound, with bright highs and generous low-end warmth.
The CPX15WII features Yamaha’s new 3-way A.R.T. (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) pickup for an incredibly natural, dynamic sound when amplified. Designed with performance in mind, the system offers ultra-natural tone with superior control and outstanding feedback rejection.
The West model evokes images of dry winds blowing across broad American landscapes. Fret markers are based on designs of Native American concho ornaments and a long horn inlay surrounds the sound hole.
